July 08, 2016
By: Patricia Cermignano
Whether it is from a power loss to the furnace or the air handler, a circuit breaker being tripped or a weak battery, there are countless reasons why a programmable thermostat may not be working properly. In order to save you time and to simplify the process, our technicians have compiled a list of ways to troubleshoot a programmable thermostat before placing a service call with our office.
If the above methods do not work or if the room temperature is still 5° above or below the desired temperature depending on the season, you may need to replace your thermostat or have your HVAC unit inspected to help diagnose a problem.
Don’t let a malfunctioning thermostat interfere with the comfort of your home or office. Please call the professionals at Bob Cermignano Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. to help resolve the problem and to answer any of your questions.
